I had a great time in Little Rock this past Saturday during the book signing for “From Here to There” by Jae Henderson and Mario D. King! Pyramid Art, Books & Custom Framing in Little Rock, Arkansas is one of my favorite places. It’s a book store and art gallery combined that featured some gorgeous art and products by African American creatives. Unfortunately, Mario couldn’t join us physically but thanks to modern technology, he still made an appearance from his home in Charlotte, North Carolina. The crowd was quite engaged and had plenty of questions for Mario and myself.
During the event, one young lady bought all nine of my titles at once. That was a first and I was floored by the gestured. Thank you to all of my friends, family, fellow authors and Sorors who attended. Also, thank you to Today’s Communique for coming and taking a few pictures of the event. It was an exclusive preview. “From Here to There” officially goes on sale Wednesday, October 22, 2019 on Amazon.com. This book is the final book in the Where Do We Go From Here series, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Earlier this year, I started doing something called Good Woman Gatherings. I became bored with traditional book signings and decided to make them more fun! It’s an afternoon or evening of fun and games centered around my latest book Husband Wanted. We have food, great games, some wine and lots of laughs. I’ve done three of them now in Little Rock, Arkansas; Memphis, TN; and Nashville, TN. I’m proud to say that each one had been a hit.
